New Galveston Food Truck Park!

There is a new food truck park in Galveston! Located in the gorgeous Sea Isle neighborhood of Galveston Island, this park opened this summer and features some great food and a lovely outdoor sitting area. The park is right off the major road (Termini San Luis Pass Rd) on the West End of Galveston Island, and it’s just across the street and within eyeshot of the beach.

What is a ‘Food Truck Park’?

If you’re unfamiliar with food truck parks, they’re a place for mobile restaurants to park and serve their unique and delicious meals, appetizers, desserts, or whatever else they may create. These are great spots to try all kinds of different foods that might be less common in traditional restaurants. From seafood to Cajun food to burgers, there is a lot of variety in meals on the menu at the Galveston Food Truck Park. When you visit for the first time be sure to grab a menu for your future visits.

This park offers a great opportunity for outdoor dining as well as fantastic meals for walking around or strolling along the beach. The park’s hours vary day to day. They are scheduled to be open 8 a.m. Wednesday – Sunday and close up at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, 4 p.m. on Thursday, 8 p.m. on Friday & Saturday, and 6 p.m. on Sunday. Check their Facebook page when you’re curious if they’re open. Also, that’s a good place to visit to see where some of the trucks might be headed! That’s another huge appeal of food trucks, they can be on the move and enjoyed almost anywhere. Keep your eyes peeled since you might catch one somewhere else on Galveston Island at some point.

Pet-Friendly

Don’t forget to bring your pup! This is another spot to add to your list of pet-friendly activities in Galveston to visit during your stay on the island. There is a lot of open space here for you and your dogs to enjoy the views, amazing smells, and beach breeze.

Come Eat!

There may only be a couple trucks stationed at the park currently, but there is plenty of space for more to roll on up when the word gets out and it expands. For larger events or holidays, this could be the go-to place to try some diverse and amazing foods.

If you’re staying nearby in the Sea Isle neighborhood of Galveston, this would make a perfect lunch or dinner. If you’re looking to stay anywhere in beautiful Galveston, we encourage you to check out this fun eating spot and support local businesses.
