Ello’ Mates! All hail, Queen Victoria! Come celebrate the holiday season at Dickens on the Strand!
Dickens on the Strand is an annual 19th-century London themed festival bringing hundreds of Victorian and Christmas enthusiasts to Galveston Island with activities, dress, food, and festivities in The Historic Strand District. Come pay homage to Charles Dickens and his ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future. Travel back in time with his stories, while reminiscing old-time London. Drink wassail and stroll down the strand while sampling English inspired foods. Wave to Queen Victoria as she makes her appearance during the festival. Hail a horse carriage ride for your family, and allow the horseman to transport you back to the good ol’ cheery days of Mr. Fezziwig! Stop by Steampunk Square!
Entrance to the festival is free for 6 & under, $12 for 7-12, and $18 for adults. Entrance is 1/2 off when wearing a Victorian Costume!
