Fireworks in Galveston

The parade—featuring marching bands, customized floats, and military vehicles—begins at 7:30 on July 4th, and travels the world-famous Galveston Seawall from 59th Street to 25th Street. Those attending the parade will have the joy of a fireworks show after the parade. It starts at 9:20 and launches from the 37th Street jetty. 

Another way to enjoy fireworks in Galveston is the Moody Garden’s Bands on the Sand summer concert series. Every Friday and Saturday night, from June 8 through August 11, Moody Gardens hosts regional and traveling bands, with all different styles of music. Each concert is a family-friendly event and is immediately followed by a fireworks show. The concerts are from 6pm to 10pm. 

A third option for fireworks in Galveston is the Stay and Play beachfront fireworks show. Taking place every Sunday night through September 2nd, this special attraction is one more reason to come to Galveston and stay the whole weekend!
