Here is a list of Galveston Events 2021: 

Shrimp Festival – The weekend of September 24 through the 26th Shrimp festival is hosted by Yaga’s. This festival brings in people to participate in the gumbo contest, the Scamper 5k Fun Run, and the famous Gumbo Stroll. Have your taste buds ready for all the delicious shrimp!  

Island Oktoberfest – Join this year’s Oktoberfest on October 22nd through the 24th. Wear your German attire for the best costume contest, or find your partner for the Annual Chicken Dance. And bring your appetite for bratwurst and German beer!  

Lonestar Biker Rally – Grab your leather jacket and clean off your bike for this year’s annual Lonestar Biker Rally. Starting on November 4th going until November 7th, enjoy the hum of bikes as they echo throughout Galveston. And make sure you check out Seawall Boulevard and The Strand area for music and vendors.  

Dickens on the Strand – Galveston Historical Foundation hosts Dickens every year to appreciate the Victorian Era and architecture that Galveston has to offer. This year it is being held on the weekend of December 3rd through the 5th. Come ready for music, entertainment, and your best 19th century get-up! 

Festival of Lights – Moody Gardens offers the amazing Festival of Lights every year.  Starting November 20th, 2021 going until January 2nd, 2022.  Dress warm and walk around the garden looking at all the beautiful lights. Stop at the fire pits to roast marshmallows and get other treats from the vendors.
