Galveston offers a year-round haunted house in historic Downtown Galveston called Haunted Mayfield Manor. And, believe it or not, the building is actually haunted. This 1876 building stored bodies after The 1900 Storm. Check the lobby for the photo. The haunted house follows the story of a fictional tale of Doctor Mayfield.

And, nothing is scarier than a cemetery at night. Galveston Historic Tours offers a Galveston Graveyard Tour. This haunted tour covers the history of the cemeteries and stories of those buried there, including Galveston’s most famous citizens.
Another famous ghost tour on the island is Lantern Light Tours of Galveston. They offer three options: Original Spooky Tour, Spirits and Shadows Tour, and After Hours at Haunted Mayfield Manor. Who knows, you might see a ghost or catch an orb in one of your photos.
