Float the day away on the one-mile lazy river that connects the various areas of the park. There are 16 rides throughout the park with 4 of them being high thrill speed slides. Schlitterbahn Galveston is also home to the world’s tallest water coaster! A special area for kids at ShipWreck cove, a rapid river section, and a wave pool is also available for fun. What to Bring

Schlitterbahn is open year-round. A section of the park is open in the fall and winter season with a heated river and pool section.

Picnics are welcome and encouraged! Pack a cooler of food and drinks (no alcohol) for a waterside picnic after a day in the sun. There are also great concessions throughout the park from hamburger and hot dogs to BBQ.

Parking is always free and there is a valet parking option for a small fee (worth it!).
