The location was great, but the actual room needs lots of updating. The inside of the room felt more of a motel & not very clean. Definitely not up to the San Luis Resort’s standards, considering I’ve been staying her for about 20 years (both hotel and condos). Still, not a bad place. The accessibility to the hotel amenities made it very worth it for us.

Location is a five, view is a 5+. The room itself could really use some upkeep. The outlets don't have ground fault circuit interrupters which is pretty standard for years, even with older homes that have been updated. The plug in in the bathroom only held the plug on the bottom, the top one it kept falling out, so without the GFCI safety feature, it was concerning. They limit you to one roll of toilet paper, one towel, one washcloth, and one hand towel per person for a full week. Luckily there is a washer and drawer to the left of the room, so for $2 and the cost of detergent, we were able to clean our own towels. The provide a "kitchenette" on top of a dresser, but dishes would have to be done in a bathroom sink. They provide a coffee pot, but no coffee mugs. The facility itself though is absolutely gorgeous, and pool towels are provided. The walk from the parking lot to our room we quick and easy. There are several restaurants within walking distance or directly on the property.
