People come to Galveston, Texas every year to sail away for fishing trips and cruises. Our “Sail Away Condo” offers a taste of the sea while keeping you grounded near the beach during your extended stay of 30 nights or more. Each room of this two-bedroom, one-bathroom condo has artwork and decorative objects that evoke the feeling of taking a boat trip. Close to the Seawall and Pleasure Pier, 5 Sail Away puts guests within a short walk of local attractions.

The modern kitchen is huge and opens to the living room, so no one in your group is cut off while preparing delicious meals and snacks! It is well stocked for your cooking needs. It includes GreenLife pots and pans, a Keurig coffee maker, a microwave, a full-size fridge and a range. The living room is stylishly decorated in bold, inviting colors. Snuggle up on the couch for a movie night or grab your favorite book to read! The sofa converts to a full-size bed for extra guests.

The condo has two bedrooms and is perfect for families. The primary bedroom has a king-size bed with luxury linens. The second bedroom has bunk beds, with a full-sized bed on the bottom and a twin on top. The primary bathroom has a shower/tub combo with a glass door and includes shampoo, conditioner and body wash during your stay.

5 Sail Away has thought of everything during your vacation. Families needing a highchair or Pack N Play can request these items prior to their stay. A washer and dryer located on the first floor of the building ensure you’ll never run out of clean clothes! There are even extra batteries in case the remote dies!

5 Sail Away is a prime location for your Galveston visit. The condo lies two blocks from the Seawall and Pleasure Pier. The Schlitterbahn water park is a short drive away. The Strand Historic District is a 30-minute walk (or a five-minute drive) away. Closer to the condo lies Menard Park, which features a huge skate park and “the world’s best outdoor gym,” with a variety of recreational activities. There are tennis courts, a playground for the kids and so much more.

On the community side of the condo, a 30-minute walk (or a seven-minute drive) takes guests to the dining, shopping and culture of The Strand Historic District. The port is a 10-minute drive away if guests wish to take a pleasure cruise during their stay. 5 Sail Away is two blocks from the Galveston Island Trolley Stop where, for a small fee, you’ll be able to explore the historic district, including The Strand Historic District and Pleasure Pier.
