Emerald 1214 offers a spacious open concept living/dining/kitchen area that's the perfect setting for a small family or two couples to relax. The property offers two balconies and wraparound windows in the living/kitchen area - enjoy magnificent views of both ocean and nearby historic neighborhoods! The living area has a sleeper sofa, a large television, cable TV and Wifi for the convenience of our guests. The large kitchen has up-to-date stainless appliances, a washer/dryer in the utility room, and abundant storage space for all the kitchen tools anyone preparing food will need. Enjoy meals at the large dining room table, and marvel at the ever-changing vistas of the Gulf of Mexico. Experience the relaxation, the views, the comforts of Emerald 1214, and all that The Emerald community has to offer!
The primary bedroom features a king bed, ceiling fan with an en suite bath (walk-in shower). The second bedroom features two twin beds, a ceiling fan and a television. Guests of Emerald 1214 will enjoy the outdoor patio with expansive views of the Gulf of Mexico, the swimming pool below and the beach from left to right!

Emerald by the Sea is a 14-story resort community, located directly on Seawall at Broadway, in the heart of the East End of Galveston Island, and offers breathtaking panoramic Gulf views and jaw-dropping sunsets. Most homes at the Emerald offer private Gulf-facing balconies, with floor-to-ceiling windows in the living area. The Emerald offers so many amenities, you may never need to leave; including a 6th-floor terrace with a 166′ heated infinity rooftop pool, fitness center, game room, movie theater, wine room for private parties, several lounge areas and a parking garage.

Events, parties, or guests attending prom are prohibited at this home, as well as any type of large gathering with guests not listed on the reservation's Guest Registration or exceeding the maximum occupancy. These provisions are strictly enforced by Ryson Vacation Rentals, and GARM (Galveston Association of Rental Managers) security. If any questions, please contact Ryson.
This vacation home should accommodate up to 2 vehicles to be parked at the property. Parking at condos is determined by the space available at the property (typically two-car maximum). Carpooling is highly recommended. Vehicles should be parked in the driveway or designated parking space. At no time should any vehicle be parked on lawns, yards or dune. Many HOAs do not allow parking for trailers, RVs, boats, etc. Please contact Ryson with any questions.
Resort amenities, including advertised elevators, require maintenance, and from time to time may be unavailable for guest use. Every effort will be made by Ryson to notify the respective HOA. However, please understand, Ryson has no control or authority in completing necessary repairs or routine maintenance. If elevator use is a requirement for any guests during your stay, please contact Ryson prior to booking, and we're happy to go over available options (alternate elevator available on premises or locating a better limited mobility friendly access unit).
Elevator is available for adult guest use - helpful for those with limited mobility or to carry up luggage and groceries.
Even if listed as a provided amenities, Ryson is unable to guarantee specific cable package, network or channels or cable and internet signal quality and cable may not be available on all TVs. Oftentimes additional TVs are available for guests wanting to hook up their own game systems or streaming devices.
All reservations require a completed Ryson Rental Agreement, and the agreement holder must be at least 25 years of age to rent this property and provide a valid ID at check-in. Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out time is at 10 am.

Great property and great location right across from Stewart Beach. We liked it because it was away from the crowded main area of Seawall. Everyone in the complex was very nice and helpful. Many of the residents were nice and would talk to you. The pool is great. Nice condo, nice area. Watch out for the sliding door in the living room going to the balcony. It is very difficult to open and close.

If you are looking for a beautiful condo with a view, you found it. Complex has tons of amenities, but our favorite part was that everything in this condo was pristine and upscale. You can walk to Stewart beach, or enjoy a sunrise from either of your two balconies with full ocean view.

The condo was beautifully decorated & so very clean! We felt very safe with a security guard & every door had security locks to enter. The beach view is ahhhhhmazing! We enjoyed sitting on the balcony & hanging out in the glassed living area with a panoramic view of Galveston!! We would definitely stay there again!!

Upon arriving the desk clerk, Cody, informed us that we would be required to wear what looked like a hospital bracelet for our entire stay. He said it was to make sure that people in the building belonged there. The building itself is secured by doors that need a key fob to get in and have security guards so not sure why the need. It should also be noted that the condos are also occupied by permanent residents who are not required to wear any sort of bracelet so not understanding the need. Cody also let us know that we could reserve the movie area and he would do it if he liked us. He was rude and condescending and it was not a good first impression. Our condo itself was absolutely beautiful and tastefully done. It had plenty of space and was just across the street from the beach. The beach does cost $20 to enter but you can drive about a mile down and use the other entrances for free. The location of the condo leaves something to be desired as all the restaurants are about a 10 min drive away. But it was a beautiful place and the upside is that it has a kitchen which a hotel would not. For the 5 day stay I would probably just book a hotel next time so I can be closer to the attractions, not pay daily beach fees, and possibly avoid power tripping desk clerks whose only claim to fame is making $7.50 an hour.
