The primary bedroom has a King bed and a TV for late-night shows to help you drift into sweet dreams. Across the hall, the bathroom holds a lovely walk-in shower. At the front of the house, the second and third bedrooms can be found. The second bedroom is set with a twin/full bunkbed and a full bed, while the third has a queen bed. A second full bath can be found new tile and hardware in a shower and original 1960 blue tub combination. A pull-out twin-size sleeper sofa can be found in the living room for additional sleeping space. No need to overpack as a washer and dryer can be found at the back of the house to freshen up any beach towels or clothes during your stay.
Beach Break is a prime location for your Galveston visit. This home is a short walk to the Seawall and jetty to throw out a line or grab great seafood prepared for you at Gaidos or Nicks. It is just a short drive to the Historic Pleasure Pier, Schlitterbahn water park and Moody Gardens. If being active during your vacation is on the menu, Menard Park nearby features a huge skate park and “the world’s best outdoor gym,” with a variety of recreational activities. There are tennis courts, a playground for the kids and so much more.

We booked this last minute for a weekend in Galveston. Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived. Communication with the owners was mostly great for our stay. We loved the location just a few blocks from the beach and we didn’t have to leave the front yard to enjoy the Sunday night fireworks. We wished there was driveway parking as the on street parking was a bit hard on the passenger doors because they kept hitting the high curbs. There is a drive path however the owners had said not to use it. There was also a tiny step in the master bedroom that we tripped over multiple times- it was in a strange location and we finally marked it so we would see it better. All in all a great stay and we would return!

We loved it! The only complaint we had was the step in the bedroom. There is a small step that is right at the door. It is dangerous. We tripped over it in the night several times. I would suggest putting a strip of dim lights there. This would help if there were any elderly that would be staying in that room. Other wise it was great!

Our stay was great! We had plenty of room for 10 people. 5 min walk to the beach. It was perfect. The only bad thing is when it rains, that area floods horribly. There was part of the back yard fence that was broken and a guy came by to measure it. It would had been nice to have been given a warning in that. Especially since I have kids. Anyone could had just walked in like that was scary. There is a step down/up in one of the rooms. We tripped over it ALOT! I think a strip of lights there would help especially if an elderly couple were to stay in that room. We would forget in the middle of the night or our kids wouldn’t think about it being there. We would definitely stay again!
