This very special property has a curved wall of glass that surrounds the spacious open concept living/dining/kitchen area with direct views to the Gulf of Mexico as well as the view of the evening fireworks that take place at Moody Gardens on summer weekend nights and other special occasions. This unit boasts a view from every living area including both bedrooms! Updated, custom kitchen with large island, custom cabinetry and stainless appliances. A view to the water while you prepare the spectacular ""fresh catch"" of the day. The primary bedroom features king size bed and en suite bath with walk in shower and flat screen television, The second bedroom has a queen bed, flat screen television and a gorgeous view of the water. Second bath has deep soaking tub to relax after a long day enjoying all of the amenities of The Diamond Beach Resort.
Amenities at The Diamond Beach Resort include a cascading 300' swimming pool with a 750' lazy river and water slide, private cabanas and beach access. The Diamond Beach Resort also offers an indoor heated pool, concierge service and a business center (if you must!), while children play in the jungle room. Ocean Cinema has some scheduled films or you can reserve a private showing for your guests. Wine and dine in the elegant private dining area. Amenities also include a fitness center, game room and conference room. Amenities are available at the DISCRETION of the resort or property. A usage fee may apply for some of the amenities. Diamond Beach Resort is a five-star, luxury getaway, located on the West End, just at the end of the Seawall, world’s longest continuous sidewalk. All units offer a private balcony with expansive and unobstructed Gulf Views. Guest will be able to watch the waves roll in and crash against the Seawall, watch the seagulls and pelicans fly overhead and look down below to the outdoor pool and lazy river, without leaving your condo. Diamond Beach Resort amenities include a three-tiered 300′ cascading infinity outdoor pool, 750′ outdoor lazy river (guests must bring own tubes), outdoor water slide (peak season 11 am – 7 pm), two outdoor hot tubs, outdoor swim-up bar and grill (peak season), sand volleyball court, cornhole, chess, ping pong, grills (9 am – 7 pm by reservation), cabana rentals (9 am – 5 pm by reservation), outdoor shower, indoor heated pool, outdoor veranda perfect for watching the sunset, game room, Ocean Movie Theater (open to public before 3 pm and private reservations after that time), Wine and Dine Room, children’s Jungle Playroom, 24/7 fitness center, 24/7 business center, conference room, vending machines, secure building and gated community.

Events, parties, or guests attending prom are prohibited at this home, as well as any type of large gathering with guests not listed on the reservation's Guest Registration or exceeding the maximum occupancy. These provisions are strictly enforced by Ryson Vacation Rentals, and GARM (Galveston Association of Rental Managers) security. If any questions, please contact Ryson.
This vacation home should accommodate up to 2 vehicles to be parked at the property. Parking at condos is determined by the space available at the property (typically two-car maximum). Carpooling is highly recommended. Vehicles should be parked in the driveway or designated parking space. At no time should any vehicle be parked on lawns, yards or dune. Many HOAs do not allow parking for trailers, RVs, boats, etc. Please contact Ryson with any questions.
Resort amenities, including advertised elevators, require maintenance, and from time to time may be unavailable for guest use. Every effort will be made by Ryson to notify the respective HOA. However, please understand, Ryson has no control or authority in completing necessary repairs or routine maintenance. If elevator use is a requirement for any guests during your stay, please contact Ryson prior to booking, and we're happy to go over available options (alternate elevator available on premises or locating a better limited mobility friendly access unit).
If guests are interested in floating on the lazy river, Diamond Beach does not supply the tubes, and it highly recommended to purchase prior to arriving on the island, as they at times there may not be enough supplies at local stores to keep up with demand.
Elevator is available for adult guest use - helpful for those with limited mobility or to carry up luggage and groceries.
Outside/exterior security surveillance is present at this home for the security of the home and our guests.
Even if listed as a provided amenities, Ryson is unable to guarantee specific cable package, network or channels or cable and internet signal quality and cable may not be available on all TVs. Oftentimes additional TVs are available for guests wanting to hook up their own game systems or streaming devices.
All reservations require a completed Ryson Rental Agreement, and the agreement holder must be at least 25 years of age to rent this property and provide a valid ID at check-in. Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out time is at 10 am.
Monthly rentals are considered in the off-season - Winter Texans, snowbirds, retirees, corporate stays, medical professionals, university students and plant workers are welcome. Extended stays or monthly rentals require a stay of 30+ nights, and these reservations are tax exempt. This is an immediate savings of 15%! Although most extended stay reservations are between the middle of November through February, extended stays may be considered anytime between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Extended stay reservations may not be placed online, but a Ryson Vacation Planner would love to answer any questions you may have and help you reserve your extended stay.

This was a very nice property. Plenty of room. On the end so very quiet. The large balcony and the view was perfect. While there we enjoyed the game room, the pool, and the lazy river. There was a gate that you could exit with easy access to the beach.

The view from this condo is absolutely amazing. We enjoyed every minute in the large open area that makes up the living/dining/kitchen. We had one major problem that affected our rest each night. There is a knocking noise in the master bath that is ongoing and seems worse at night. It was hard to sleep with that noise. We got a white noise machine that covered it up in order to rest at night. We called and reported it. A very nice young man came and tried to fix it, but said it would require getting into the sheet rock. It was supposed to be taken care of but no one came back. That would be my worse complaint. I hope it gets fixed for the next person. If you like coffee pods, bring your own Keurig. If you like fixing your own food, bring mixing bowls. The kitchen is not well equipped, but we made do. I purchased a small vegetable steamer and left it there for the next group. You will love the view, the porch and the furniture are comfortable. The amenities are nice. Parking vehicle in the garage is wonderful. The only reason I am not giving this an excellent review is because of the ongoing pounding noise in the master bath and the lack of sleep it caused.

We really enjoyed our stay in our spacious condo at Diamond Head Resort. Our condo had a beautiful panoramic view of Galveston Island. We enjoyed our stay very much. We will be returning.
