Rain or shine, this home fosters family fun with a large backyard, pool and ping pong table, a retro gaming system (37K games), and the Island’s first-and-only Infinity Game Table (60+ classic digital board games). A Bended Oak Bungalow is clean and fully outfitted for your vacation, accommodating 8 guests with 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, a full kitchen, and beach supplies. A large dog is welcome with a pet fee paid at booking.
Enjoy Gulf breezes and a majestic Live Oak tree on the charming front porch swing. The large, shaded backyard offers a quiet retreat and room for kids and dogs to run and play. Treetop dining awaits on the deck with a table for 4. Downstairs there is a shaded patio with hammock swings, a charcoal BBQ grill, and a firepit for campfire s’mores with seating for 8. This getaway includes an outdoor shower and ready-to-use beach supplies: wagon, 4 beach chairs with umbrellas, sand toys, and 6 beach towels.
The large living area features hardwood floors, comfortable seating, free WiFi, and a large smart TV with antenna where you may log into subscription accounts, including Netflix, Hulu, etc. There are games and Galveston-themed reading materials.
The modern kitchen is fully equipped to prepare meals and snacks. The kitchen includes a large gas range, microwave, coffeemaker, dishes, all necessary kitchen tools, a highchair, and a round table with seating for 4.
The dining room includes a large table with seating for 8 that converts for pool or ping pong fun, as well as a corner bar table and chairs. Plenty of seating for everyone! There is a 1/2 bath off the dining room for added convenience.
The primary bedroom is secluded in the back for increased privacy, featuring a king bed and smart TV with antenna. The second bedroom is accessed from the living room, offering a queen bed, lots of storage, and a large en-suite bath with a tub/ shower combo. The third bedroom connects to the second bedroom with a barn door, offering a twin bunk bed, twin daybed with trundle, and a chair that converts into a floor mat. All bedrooms have plenty of linens and pillows for a good night sleep.
The home also includes a laundry room with washer/dryer, iron, and an ironing board for the convenience of the guests.
Staying in town or near one of Galveston's Historic Districts has its own set of perks and is very different from the West End or near East Beach. Many in town homes are walking distance to the seawall, the beach, restaurants, shopping, the Historic Strand & Postoffice district, the Pleasure Pier, museums, the Galveston-Bolivar Ferry, plenty of other attractions, things to do, grocery stores, Texas A&M University, Shriner’s Hospital, Ronald McDonald House and UTMB (University of Texas Medical Branch), one of the largest, most technologically sophisticated emergency care facilities in the world, a level 1 trauma and burn center.

This home is pet-friendly. One pet is allowed. Weight limit of 50 pounds. All pets must be registered, and pet fee ($100/pet) must be paid upfront. Outside the home, dogs must be leashed at all times, and owners are responsible for picking up after dogs. Please review Ryson’s 'Tips for Traveling with Pets' for additional information.

Events, parties, or guests attending prom are prohibited at this home, as well as any type of large gathering with guests not listed on the reservation's Guest Registration or exceeding the maximum occupancy. These provisions are strictly enforced by Ryson Vacation Rentals, and GARM (Galveston Association of Rental Managers) security. Please contact Ryson with any questions.
This vacation home should accommodate up to 3 vehicles to be parked at the property. Carpooling is highly recommended. Vehicles should be parked in the driveway or designated parking space. At no time should any vehicle be parked on lawns, yards or dune. Many HOAs do not allow parking for trailers, RVs, boats, etc. Please contact Ryson with any questions.
Even if listed as a provided amenity, Ryson is unable to guarantee specific cable packages, networks, channels, cable signal quality, or internet signal quality. Cable may not be available on all TVs.
All reservations require a completed Ryson Rental Agreement, and the agreement holder must be at least 25 years of age to rent this property and provide a valid ID at check-in. Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out time is at 10 am.
Monthly rentals are considered in the off-season - Winter Texans, snowbirds, retirees, corporate stays, medical professionals, university students and plant workers are welcome. Extended stays or monthly rentals require a stay of 30+ nights, and these reservations are tax exempt. This is an immediate savings of 15%! Although most extended stay reservations are between the middle of November through February, extended stays may be considered anytime between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Extended stay reservations may not be placed online, but a Ryson Vacation Planner would love to answer any questions you may have and help you reserve your extended stay.
