Beachfront Flamingo features two primary bedrooms - one with a king bed (sleeps 2), the other with a queen bed (sleeps 2. Each primary bedroom has a private bath with a soaking tub and shower. The third bedroom has a queen bed (sleeps 2). The fourth bedroom features 2 sets of twin bunk beds (sleeps 4), and the fifth bedroom has 1 set of twin bunk beds (sleeps 2).
Only steps away from the sandy shores of the Gulf of Mexico take in the coastal breeze from the wrap around balcony. The quick walk to the beach will make bringing all the beach toys and picnic easy.

Pointe West is a master-planned community, that opened in the summer of 2006, located on the last three miles of the island with a highly maintained, vehicle-free beach. Pointe West offers an infinity pool, fitness center, bar, restaurant, gift shop, game room, gas grills, and cabanas on the beachfront, and the Pointe West Sunset Pool with lazy river, kitty pool, hot tub, fire-pit, and additional grills are located on the bayside.

NOTES
To access Pointe West amenities guests must visit the Pointe West Beach Club front desk from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm to provide a valid ID and pay the access fee to obtain wristbands for all guests 3 and for an amenities access card. Wristbands are limited to three per bedroom, the fee is paid directly to the Pointe West HOA by cash or credit card. The use of the Pointe West Beach Club and amenities are optional, and usage fees are not included in rental rates. Please contact the Pointe West Beach Club directly with any questions regarding amenities.

This property is very well-appointed and clean and is located in our favorite Galveston neighborhood. The decoration is beautiful, the televisions are smart TVs and made watching streaming services easy, and the living room and dining table both have ample seating. The management company left baskets of little goodies in the kitchen and all bathrooms, which was a nice touch. There were only a few negatives - one is that there is only one bathroom for 3 bedrooms on one side where up to 7 people can stay. Another issue was that there was no deadbolt, so that made us a bit nervous. We would've also loved cushions for the outside seating - the rocking chairs aren't too comfortable and there are no other options out on the deck. However, those are champagne problems, to be honest. Prior to our stay, we had no problem getting in touch with the property manager, but during the stay there was no reply to our email and text. Luckily, it was not urgent in nature, so we didn't worry much about it. Overall, we highly recommend this property!

Property has deteriorated badly over the last few years. All of the wood floors exhibit signs of moisture damage. Cabinet knobs and plumbing handles are loose and in need of attention. Deck furniture is in need of paint to demand the price this unit seeks. I can't recommend this property to friends.
