Description
Inside this unit, the open concept living/dining/kitchen area has enough room for 8 people. The living area features a queen sleeper sofa and kitchen that is fully stocked for 8 guests. The kitchen includes 4 burner stove and oven, full-size refrigerator/freezer, granite countertops, microwave, coffee pot, dishes, flatware, and cooking utensils. Just get your groceries and you are set for a great time at the beach.
The primary bedroom has a queen bed, the 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and the 3rd bedroom is an alcove with a twin over a full bunk.
THE VICTORIAN
The Victorian Galveston offers two swimming pools; Waterfall Lagoon is heated in the winter with a rock waterfall and Paradise Cove for the kids, which features a water-drop mushroom and zero-depth entry with bubbling jets. The Victorian also has two hot tubs in secluded garden settings, picnic areas, a pavilion, garden courtyards with lush landscaping, a lighted tennis court and a 24-hour fitness center.

Events, parties, or guests attending prom are prohibited at this home, as well as any type of large gathering with guests not listed on the reservation's Guest Registration or exceeding the maximum occupancy. These provisions are strictly enforced by Ryson Vacation Rentals and City Police.
This vacation home should accommodate up to 2 vehicles to be parked at the property. Parking at condos is determined by the space available at the property (typically two-car maximum). Carpooling is highly recommended. Vehicles should be parked in the driveway or designated parking space. At no time should any vehicle be parked on lawns, yards or dune. Many HOAs do not allow parking for trailers, RVs, boats, etc. Please contact Ryson with any questions.
Reservations at this HOA require a resort/parking/amenity fee to be paid directly to the HOA upon arrival.
This resort fee covers up to two vehicles for up to two weeks and guest wristbands for pool, hot tub and fitness center for up to 8 guests. Reservations of 9 guests (if max occupancy allows), require an additional payment for the additional wristband. Guests should return pool bands to The Victorian front office prior to departure.
Some Victorian units have a bunk bed or bed in the hallway alcove area (24 by 72 inches), and are typically only recommended to accommodate children or small adults. Guests should review sleep arrangement options to determine if setup would be comfortable for their group.
Resort amenities, including advertised elevators, require maintenance, and from time to time may be unavailable for guest use. Every effort will be made by Ryson to notify the respective HOA. However, please understand, Ryson has no control or authority in completing necessary repairs or routine maintenance. If elevator use is a requirement for any guests during your stay, please contact Ryson prior to booking, and we're happy to go over available options (alternate elevator available on premises or locating a better limited mobility friendly access unit).
Elevator is available for adult guest use - helpful for those with limited mobility or to carry up luggage and groceries.
Outside/exterior security surveillance is present at this home for the security of the home and our guests.
Even if listed as a provided amenities, Ryson is unable to guarantee specific cable package, network or channels or cable and internet signal quality and cable may not be available on all TVs.
All reservations require a completed Ryson Rental Agreement, and the agreement holder must be at least 21 years of age to rent this property and provide a valid ID at check-in. Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out time is at 10 am.
EXTENDED STAYS
Monthly rentals are considered in the off-season - Winter Texans, snowbirds, retirees, corporate stays, medical professionals, university students and plant workers are welcome. Extended stays or monthly rentals require a stay of 30+ nights, and these reservations are tax exempt. This is an immediate savings of 15%! Although most extended stay reservations are between the middle of November through February, extended stays may be considered anytime between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Extended stay reservations may not be placed online, but a Ryson Vacation Planner would love to answer any questions you may have and help you reserve your extended stay.

Comfortable, easy and reasonable beach vacation property. (We lived in Galveston when the Victorian was built as a time share in the early 80’s. It has fared reasonably well over the years.) The best is having the stop light for crossing Seawall.

The pics look great and we couldn't wait to get there and start our vacation. We ended up leaving...
The pics look great and we couldn't wait to get there and start our vacation. We ended up leaving a day early cause the place was so gross. I'm not one to complain, but as bad as it was, I had to call and ask them to send someone to clean. Even after they sent someone to clean the place, it was gross. The toilet was dirty, tub was dirty, floors were horrendous, pans were dirty, fold out couch bed had a stained mattress protector and no sheet, beds felt sandy and dirty, windows were covered in hand prints. After the cleaning crew came out to clean, I will say, the floors were slightly better, but the dirty pans we wanted to use, were literally just wiped out and not washed. I will never stay with Ryson again. They need to fire and hire a new cleaning crew.

Clean property in an ideal location. One drawback is that the listing indicates it sleeps 9 (which it does) but the condo association limits the occupancy to 8. This becomes a problem with access to the pools, as we were only given 8 wrist bands. The hot tubs were not available for the duration of our stay.
