If you’re feeling hungry, the kitchen features all major appliances including a dishwasher, cookware, and dinnerware, so you can easily prepare gourmet meals or simple beach snacks. Enjoy meals together in the dining room, or head out to one of the many nearby restaurants.
After a day of Galveston adventures, you and your crew are in for a good night’s sleep. At Seaside Cottage, you’ll all sleep like babies in well-appointed and comfortable bedrooms. Two bedrooms have queen size beds and share a bathroom with tub/shower combination and the third has a full-size bed. The Seaside Cottage is a perfect getaway for a small family of 6 or less.
Seaside Cottage is located only blocks from Seawall Boulevard. The Schlitterbahn water park is a short drive away. The Strand Historic District is a 30-minute walk (or a five-minute drive) away. Closer to the home lies Menard Park, which features a huge skate park and “the world’s best outdoor gym,” with a variety of recreational activities. Lasker Park is also nearby and is a Galveston Island Public Swimming Pool. Of course, you’re also just blocks from the beach, where you can splash in the surf and beach comb. Head to the West End Marina and grab a bite at the Sandbar as you watch boats head in from their fishing adventures. Better yet, charter your own fishing boat for the day and see what you can catch!

This home is pet-friendly. 2 pets are allowed. All pets must be registered, and pet fee ($100/pet) must be paid upfront. Outside the home, dogs must be leashed at all times, and owners are responsible for picking up after dogs. Please review Ryson’s 'Tips for Traveling with Pets' for additional information.

This vacation home should accommodate up to 4 vehicles to be parked at the property. Carpooling is highly recommended. Vehicles should be parked in the driveway or designated parking space. At no time should any vehicle be parked on lawns, yards or dune. Many HOAs do not allow parking for trailers, RVs, boats, etc. Please contact Ryson with any questions.
Even if listed as a provided amenities, Ryson is unable to guarantee specific cable package, network or channels or cable and internet signal quality and cable may not be available on all TVs.
All reservations require a completed Ryson Rental Agreement, and the agreement holder must be at least 25 years of age to rent this property and provide a valid ID at check-in. Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out time is at 10 am.
Monthly rentals are considered in the off-season - Winter Texans, snowbirds, retirees, corporate stays, medical professionals, university students and plant workers are welcome. Extended stays or monthly rentals require a stay of 30+ nights, and these reservations are tax exempt. This is an immediate savings of 15%! Although most extended stay reservations are between the middle of November through February, extended stays may be considered anytime between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Extended stay reservations may not be placed online, but a Ryson Vacation Planner would love to answer any questions you may have and help you reserve your extended stay.

This home is great for its location being very close to Seawall, the beach, and a few restaurants. Everything in town is a few minutes drive. One major plus about this home is a driveway for 2 vehicles which is really nice not having to worry about parking.
