The home is great for families and has a HUGE primary including queen size bed and set of twin bunks with bath and garden tub. Second bedroom also features a queen bed and third bedroom features two twin over full bunks (room sleeps 6). This property has full-sized washer and dryer help to make this the perfect long-term stay!
POINTE WEST
Pointe West is a master-planned community, that opened in the summer of 2006, located on the last three miles of the island with a highly maintained, vehicle-free beach. Pointe West offers an infinity pool, fitness center, bar, restaurant, gift shop, game room, gas grills and cabanas on the beachfront, and the Pointe West Sunset Pool with lazy river, kitty pool, hot tub, fire-pit and additional grills are located on the bayside.

Ryson partners exclusively with Gulf Coast Concierge to make your time on the island unforgettable! Gulf Coast Concierge understands it's the little things that count. Create your own adventures with beach gear and golf cart rentals, a sunset cruise or a bonfire and smores on the beach. Gulf Coast Concierge also offers fishing charters, photo sessions, and a variety of in-home services. If you can dream it, we will do our best to make it happen!

This vacation home should accommodate up to 4 vehicles to be parked at the property. Carpooling is highly recommended. Vehicles should be parked in the driveway or designated parking space. At no time should any vehicle be parked on lawns, yards or dune. Many HOAs do not allow parking for trailers, RVs, boats, etc. Please contact Ryson with any questions.
To access Pointe West amenities guests must visit the Pointe West Beach Club front desk from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm to provide valid ID and pay the access fee to obtain wristbands for all guests 3 and for an amenities access card. Wristbands are limited to three per bedroom, fee is paid directly to the Pointe West HOA by cash or credit card. The use of the Pointe West Beach Club and amenities are optional, and usage fees are not included in rental rates. Please contact the Pointe West Beach Club directly with any questions regarding amenities.
Resort amenities, including advertised elevators, require maintenance, and from time to time may be unavailable for guest use. Every effort will be made by Ryson to notify the respective HOA. However, please understand, Ryson has no control or authority in completing necessary repairs or routine maintenance. If elevator use is a requirement for any guests during your stay, please contact Ryson prior to booking, and we're happy to go over available options (alternate elevator available on premises or locating a better limited mobility friendly access unit).
Outside/exterior security surveillance is present at this home for the security of the home and our guests.
Even if listed as a provided amenities, Ryson is unable to guarantee specific cable package, network or channels or cable and internet signal quality and cable may not be available on all TVs.
All reservations require a completed Ryson Rental Agreement, and the agreement holder must be at least 25 years of age to rent this property and provide a valid ID at check-in. Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out time is at 10 am.
EXTENDED STAYS
Monthly rentals are considered in the off-season - Winter Texans, snowbirds, retirees, corporate stays, medical professionals, university students and plant workers are welcome. Extended stays or monthly rentals require a stay of 30+ nights, and these reservations are tax exempt. This is an immediate savings of 15%! Although most extended stay reservations are between the middle of November through February, extended stays may be considered anytime between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Extended stay reservations may not be placed online, but a Ryson Vacation Planner would love to answer any questions you may have and help you reserve your extended stay.

West Galveston is quiet, relaxing, fun. Especially liked pool, game room, and beach. Few restaurant options on West End though.

Overall good long weekend getaway to Pointe West. Visited in May 2020 when there were restrictions on pool usage and reservations were required. This was not shared with us before arrival and we not able to make reservations. Property needs some TLC: Wicker bar stool seats were broken. One wicker patio chair was broken. Patio table was extremely rusted. Kitchen included old cookware and not enough utensils, esp forks. Bunk bed ladder not fully attached / not safe. Patio door curtain came out of wall (no drywall anchors). Shower curtain did not have magnets so wouldn't stay inside of tub. Property smelled of urine.
