Description
This amazing home offers one of the best decks in Galveston with three access areas from the home. Talk about expansive, with tile flooring, natural wood above, unobstructed views and a railing that allows guests to see the view even when sitting and relaxing.
Château Soleil is an open-floorplan, great for entertaining guests and holding family get-togethers. The living area offers a 2-story vaulted ceiling with almost floor-to-ceiling windows, a large U-shape sectional sofa, complete with an interior overlook from the second floor.
Château Soleil The kitchen is wonderful for entertaining, with plenty of room for moving around, stainless steel appliances, French door refrigerator, ice-maker, granite countertops throughout, 2 huge islands, and an extra bar sink! This is the kitchen for you foodies out there! The kitchen is open to the dining and living areas.
SLEEPING: The true primary bedroom (king bed sleeps 2 + sofa sleeper sleeps 2) is located on the second floor with an ensuite bathroom. A second primary is also located on the second level with a queen bed (sleeps 2) and an ensuite bath. From the second primary bedroom, guests may access the loft bedroom, located on the third level, which offers a full over full bunk (sleeps 4). Two additional queen bedrooms (2x2, sleeps 4 in both bedrooms) are located on the first floor with a jack and jill bath between. Please note, to access the second bedroom on the main level, guests must pass through the first bedroom. Château Soleil may accommodate a total of 14 guests.
SPANISH GRANT
Spanish Grant is a quaint, cozy, welcoming, friendly, island beach village, established well before the ’90s, located just seven miles West of 61st Street, with just three rows of beach homes and offers multiple pathways to access the beach. The beach in Spanish Grant is not a drive-on beach, which many families with small children prefer.

This home is pet friendly. 2 pets are allowed. All pets must be registered, and pet fee ($100/pet) must be paid upfront. Outside the home, dogs must be leashed at all times, and owners are responsible for picking up after dogs. Please review Ryson’s 'Tips for Traveling with Pets' for additional information.

Events, parties, or guests attending prom are prohibited at this home, as well as any type of large gathering with guests not listed on the reservation's Guest Registration or exceeding the maximum occupancy. These provisions are strictly enforced by Ryson Vacation Rentals, and GARM (Galveston Association of Rental Managers) security. If any questions, please contact Ryson.
This vacation home should accommodate up to 4 vehicles to be parked at the property. Carpooling is highly recommended. Vehicles should be parked in the driveway or designated parking space. At no time should any vehicle be parked on lawns, yards or dune. Many HOAs do not allow parking for trailers, RVs, boats, etc. Please contact Ryson with any questions.
Spanish Grant offers three (3) approved public pedestrian pathways to the beach in Spanish Grant; at the end of Spanish Grant Blvd. and the east and west ends of Ventura. Please do not enter the beach at Buena Vista dunes or by cutting through private property to access the beach. Parking only allowed on the beachside of the road on Buena Vista from the beach.
Outside/exterior security surveillance is present at this home for the security of the home and our guests.
Even if listed as a provided amenities, Ryson is unable to guarantee specific cable package, network or channels or cable and internet signal quality and cable may not be available on all TVs.
All reservations require a completed Ryson Rental Agreement, and the agreement holder must be at least 25 years of age to rent this property and provide a valid ID at check-in. Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out time is at 10 am.
EXTENDED STAYS
Monthly rentals are considered in the off-season - Winter Texans, snowbirds, retirees, corporate stays, medical professionals, university students and plant workers are welcome. Extended stays or monthly rentals require a stay of 30+ nights, and these reservations are tax exempt. This is an immediate savings of 15%! Although most extended stay reservations are between the middle of November through February, extended stays may be considered anytime between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Extended stay reservations may not be placed online, but a Ryson Vacation Planner would love to answer any questions you may have and help you reserve your extended stay.

Overall the house was good but guest services did not respond most of the time and took away from me spending time with family because I had to constantly try to reach someone. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was nice and big. The view was great. Love the location. Several things did not work. Freezer didn’t work. We arrived on a Thursday, reported it Friday morning, two different very nice people came to check it out and later in the day I was given a code to unlock the owner’s freezer that did not work but took till calling again Saturday morning to get a resolution. Jacob was nice and helpful when I got to talk to him but couldn’t always get him. Couldn’t get an answer Friday evening. Deck door would not lock. Kitchen ceiling fan not working. Some shutters did not work. Primary king room bed had a queen flat sheet that did not fit the king bed and the shower leaked on the floor when using the wall jets. There’s not a table on the deck. The telescope does not work. There are no stairs to go down from the deck…only inside the house.

We really liked the location/beach access, the number of towels, the number of access points to the balconies/view, and parking space. However, we noticed that the master shower leaked and a kitchen outlet did not work (which we reported and you responded to quickly). Also, over the days there, we noticed that the property seemed much more beaten up than I would\'ve expected for such a new building - the walls were dirty, the couch was saggy, couch pillows had stains, the sliding shower doors for the bathroom off of the queen were very difficult to move and/or off the track, one of the toilets was not fully secured to the ground (tilted when you sat on it), the outdoor grill was tipped over when we arrived (which we put upright) and was covered in rust. I know it stated there were no kitchen essentials but we were shocked to find salt, pepper, and coffee filters weren\'t even on-site.
