This historic home sits right in the middle of all the action steps away off on of the most desirable streets in (*Galveston 25th st). Situated in the historic Silk Stocking Mansion District the home is a short walk or trolley ride to the beach, Pleasure Pier, or the Strand. The perfect distance to everything! The remodeled home features original exposed shiplap and creaky antique floors mixed with new high end finish outs and appliances. The home sleeps up to 13 people in 4 bedrooms with 8 beds and features indoor and outdoor entertainment spaces including a breezy southern style 2nd floor porch. The fully stocked modern kitchen will allow anyone to bring out their inner chef. While the outdoor dining, 2nd floor porch area and grill allows guests to enjoy Galveston's signature warm summer nights. This home is perfect for large groups that want to explore all Galveston has to offer!

Guests will also have access to 3 driveway parking places (on street parking is also available) and access to the outside, grilling, and dining area. The property is accessed by guests on the 2nd floor from the back of the property.

This home is located in one of the best neighborhoods in Galveston. The historic Silk Stocking Mansion District is located in the heart of Galveston within a short walk or trolley to the beach, Pleasure Pier, the Strand, museums and numerous restaurants. Watch Mardi Gras parades right from the private balcony! The unit entrance is in the back of the building at the end of the driveway up the rear stairs. The unit is not handicap accessible.

The home is a short walk to most of Galveston's biggest attractions and located directly on the free trolley route. 3 off street parking are available and on street parking is available. Uber, Lyft, and taxis are available throughout the island.

The home occupies the 2nd and 3rd floors of the House, Entrance it at the rear of the property accessed from the back of properties stairs to the 2nd story. The street side front door on the 1st floor is not accessible to guests. The unit is not handicap accessible.

We do not offer refunds for rainy weather. We only offer refunds if Galveston is under mandatory evacuations due to named hurricane activity.

IN TOWN
Staying in town or near one of Galveston's Historic Districts has its own set of perks and is very different from the West End or near East Beach. Many in town homes are walking distance to the seawall, the beach, restaurants, shopping, the Historic Strand & Postoffice district, the Pleasure Pier, museums, the Galveston-Bolivar Ferry, plenty of other attractions, things to do, grocery stores, Texas A&M University, Shriner’s Hospital, Ronald McDonald House and UTMB (University of Texas Medical Branch), one of the largest, most technologically sophisticated emergency care facilities in the world, a level 1 trauma and burn center.

Even if listed as a provided amenities, Ryson is unable to guarantee specific cable package, network or channels or cable and internet signal quality and cable may not be available on all TVs. Oftentimes additional TVs are available for guests wanting to hook up their own game systems or streaming devices. The property is accessed by guest on the 2nd floor from the back of the property.

All reservations require a completed Ryson Rental Agreement, and the agreement holder must be at least 25 years of age to rent this property and provide a valid ID at check-in. Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out time is at 10 am. The property is accessed by guest on the 2nd floor from the back of the property.

EXTENDED STAYS
Monthly rentals are considered in the off-season - Winter Texans, snowbirds, retirees, corporate stays, medical professionals, university students and plant workers are welcome. Extended stays or monthly rentals require a stay of 30+ nights, and these reservations are tax exempt. This is an immediate savings of 15%! Although most extended stay reservations are between the middle of November through February, extended stays may be considered anytime between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Extended stay reservations may not be placed online, but a Ryson Vacation Planner would love to answer any questions you may have and help you reserve your extended stay.
