The open concept living/dining/kitchen area has great flow where the family may enjoy relaxing, playing games at the large dining table, and meal preparation in this well-appointed modern kitchen. The fourth bedroom is located on the first level of the home and is two twin bunks (sleeps 4) which has a full bath. The half bath is also located on the first level of the home. The other three bedrooms are upstairs (2nd floor). The primary bedroom has a queen bed with an en-suite bath featuring a separate tub and step-in shower and a walk-out deck for morning coffee while guests watch as the ships pull in and out of Galveston harbor. The second and third bedrooms each have a queen bed and share a jack-and-jill bath. They are also located on the second floor of the home.
Come and enjoy something new and different on the East Beach of Galveston. The Skin and Bones home will delight even the most particular guest! This home has ample entertainment opportunities, close to the beach, and has gorgeous views. Events, parties, or guests attending prom are prohibited at this home. These provisions are strictly enforced by Ryson Vacation Rentals.

EXTENDED STAYS
Monthly rentals are considered in the off-season - Winter Texans, snowbirds, retirees, corporate stays, medical professionals, university students and plant workers are welcome. Extended stays or monthly rentals require a stay of 30+ nights, and these reservations are tax exempt. This is an immediate savings of 15%! Although most extended stay reservations are between the middle of November through February, extended stays may be considered anytime between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Extended stay reservations may not be placed online, but a Ryson Vacation Planner would love to answer any questions you may have and help you reserve your extended stay.

Its a nice house at a great location. However, the cost of the rental with the lack of simple amenities would have me tell friends and family that they should stay elsewhere.

We survived hurricanes Beryl!! Great home, so we decided to weather the storm. According to the locals the East side is less likely to flood and they were correct. Open concept main floor made for great family time. Large decks and patios. Big tv and plenty of seating area to gather. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook in. The bunk room downstairs was perfect for the kids. It has its own bathroom. The main floor also has a 1/2 bath for guests or for those who didn’t want to go upstairs. The three bedrooms upstairs were comfortable. The master suite has a great bathroom and deck. All rooms had great closets. Hardwoods throughout the house. Cold air conditioning! Just clean and welcoming. Close enough to get to everything and just far enough to escape traffic and crowds. The gated community limited access and thus, the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. We lost power due to the storm and had to cut of trip short, but will definitely comeback should our travels take us to Galveston again.

Outstanding: Floorplan Decks Natural lighting Kitchen Storage space Comfortable, quiet rooms/beds, even the bunk beds! Immaculately cleaned before we arrived. Nice neighborhood Issues: Ice maker didn't work the entire time we were there. They did put in a work order for it We only had 3 SUVs among us but you'd have trouble getting 4 vehicles on the driveway if you did unless that are smaller cars

Bring your own toilet paper as most of the bathroom only came with one roll and we were there a week. Also bring trash bags as there was no extras. Oh and bug spray because the mosquitoes are very affectionate. Lastly get the code to the beach pier as we didn’t have it. Otherwise it was a beautiful home and we truly enjoyed our stay.

The house and location were great! There were a few things that could make a house at this price point better: the outdoor shower does not work- we were not able to get it to turn on so we could only use the hose to wash off sand after being at the beach which wasn’t ideal. There was also very little outdoor appeal- we would’ve liked to spend more time outside at the house but there was only a table and chairs. It would’ve been nice to have a hammock, swing, etc. to be able to enjoy being beachfront. There was also no access to any beach “toys” compared to other properties we’ve stayed at in the area.
