The open concept living/dining/kitchen area is very large and makes preparing and serving meals a breeze. The large kitchen area has three separate workspaces - that way everyone can pitch in and enjoy the fun of barbecued steaks prepared on the charcoal grill (ground level), a fresh shrimp cocktail prepared from the purchase at the boats in Galveston. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless appliances, granite countertops and loads of cabinets full of kitchen supplies! The kitchen has both a 12-cup drip and a Keurig Coffee pot (please bring your own k-cups). There is something for everyone to enjoy at The Blue Pearl. The main television in the living room is attached to Xfinity Cable Television, other TVs throughout the home are smart TVs with ROKU. Guests will need to supply their own Netflix, Hulu, Prime account passwords.
The Blue Pearl has several different sleeping options, depending on your family's needs. This home has a total occupancy of 13 guests (including adults and children). The Blue Pearl features two bedrooms on the main level and two bedrooms on the upper level along with one ground level bedroom for those who don't want to climb stairs or for guests who prefer completely separated sleeping space. The main level of the house features the primary bedroom with a king-size bed and TV (no en suite bath). The second bedroom is also located on the main floor of the home and has a queen bed. The two bedrooms are separated by a full bath with a large step-in shower. Under the staircase is also a sleeping nook with a twin bed - a great place to take a nap or read a book! The living area also has a queen sleeper sofa. Upstairs are two more bedrooms - bedroom 3 upstairs features a bunk room with a twin/twin/twin trundle bunk, the 4th bedroom features a queen bed along with a twin/twin trundle. To round out the sleeping arrangements, the ground level has 5th bedroom with a queen over queen bunk.
Guests have more than enough space in The Blue Pearl to plan for fishing, swimming, surfing and all kinds of beach fun! The Pirates Beach neighborhood is one of Galveston's finest neighborhoods - close the beach, close to town for nightlife and dining - it's got it all!
PIRATES' BEACH
Pirates' Beach, located on the beachside of the island, East of Jamaica Beach and Galveston Island State Park, is one of the island's most popular neighborhoods, as families have been vacationing in Pirates Beach for generations! Pirates' beaches are some of the best kept on the island, and many guests appreciate that vehicles are not able to drive on the beaches here (guests are able to park at one of the many neighborhood cul-de-sacs to easily carry beach gear to the beach). Pirates’ Beach has its own small grocery mart, liquor store and even fresh seafood markets and bait shops. If you want to stock up on some essentials, Hummel’s General store is a one-stop shop for groceries, ice, fresh deli sandwiches and pizza, pretty much all the goodies you may need for a vacation weekend.

This vacation home should accommodate up to 4 vehicles to be parked at the property. Carpooling is highly recommended. Vehicles should be parked in the driveway or designated parking space. At no time should any vehicle be parked on lawns, yards or dune. Many HOAs do not allow parking for trailers, RVs, boats, etc. Please contact Ryson with any questions.
Pirates' Beach is a residential neighborhood, and quiet hours are enforced between 10 pm and 7 am.
Even if listed as a provided amenities, Ryson is unable to guarantee specific cable package, network or channels or cable and internet signal quality and cable may not be available on all TVs. Oftentimes additional TVs are available for guests wanting to hook up their own game systems or streaming devices.
All reservations require a completed Ryson Rental Agreement, and the agreement holder must be at least 25 years of age to rent this property and provide a valid ID at check-in. Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out time is at 10 am.
EXTENDED STAYS
Monthly rentals are considered in the off-season - Winter Texans, snowbirds, retirees, corporate stays, medical professionals, university students and plant workers are welcome. Extended stays or monthly rentals require a stay of 30+ nights, and these reservations are tax exempt. This is an immediate savings of 15%! Although most extended stay reservations are between the middle of November through February, extended stays may be considered anytime between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Extended stay reservations may not be placed online, but a Ryson Vacation Planner would love to answer any questions you may have and help you reserve your extended stay.

Overall, we had a good stay at the blue Pearl. Just make sure you pay attention to the floor plan. We did not. One of the rooms is on the first floor/garage area. It\'s bunk beds so not sure how comfortable you would feel leaving your kids down stairs and not in the main house. We did not use that bedroom. With that said, it was convenient to have a bathroom down there. Also, the other bunk room, you need to access through 1 of the 2 bathrooms in the main house. Overall everything was good. Just pay attention to the floor plan before you book.
