Casa del Mar 272 - Sea, Sun, and Sand will fulfill all of your vacation dreams.  Come for a quick weekend getaway or plan an off-season monthly visit if you love bird watching, fishing, and no snow!  This one-bedroom one bath condominium is located at the corner of 61st Street and the world-famous Seawall Boulevard.  Park the car, walk to the beach, grocery store, several different restaurants.  Everything within a short walk.  The primary bedroom has a queen bed and television, the living area also has a queen sleeper sofa and the alcove is outfitted with two junior size twin beds. Casa del Mar Galveston offers two swimming pools; one of the pools is heated during the winter months. Casa del Mar also offers a community grilling area, onsite coin-operated laundry on first and third floors, vending and ice machines on the second floor and complimentary WiFi is available throughout the resort grounds.

Events, parties, or guests attending prom are prohibited at this home, as well as any type of large gathering with guests not listed on the reservation's Guest Registration or exceeding the maximum occupancy. These provisions are strictly enforced by Ryson Vacation Rentals, and GARM (Galveston Association of Rental Managers) security. If any questions, please contact Ryson.

This vacation home should accommodate up to 2 vehicles to be parked at the property. Parking at condos is determined by the space available at the property (typically two-car maximum). Carpooling is highly recommended. Vehicles should be parked in the driveway or designated parking space. At no time should any vehicle be parked on lawns, yards or dune. Many HOAs do not allow parking for trailers, RVs, boats, etc. Please contact Ryson with any questions.

Casa del Mar reservations require guests to pay a Parking/Registration Fee. Parking/Registration Fee is for up to two vehicles, and the term is up to 30 days. Guests with reservations of 30+ days will need to purchase an additional permit after 30 days.
HOA fees (resort, parking, amenity, etc.) are to be paid directly to the HOA upon arrival via debit or credit card (cash will not be accepted).
Some Casa del Mar units have a bunk bed or bed in the hallway alcove area (24 by 72 inches), and are typically only recommended to accommodate children or small adults. Guests should review sleep arrangement options to determine if setup would be comfortable for their group.
Resort amenities, including advertised elevators, require maintenance, and from time to time may be unavailable for guest use. Every effort will be made by Ryson to notify the respective HOA. However, please understand, Ryson has no control or authority in completing necessary repairs or routine maintenance. If elevator use is a requirement for any guests during your stay, please contact Ryson prior to booking, and we're happy to go over available options (alternate elevator available on premises or locating a better limited mobility friendly access unit).

Elevator is available for adult guest use - helpful for those with limited mobility or to carry up luggage and groceries.

Even if listed as a provided amenities, Ryson is unable to guarantee specific cable package, network or channels or cable and internet signal quality and cable may not be available on all TVs. Oftentimes additional TVs are available for guests wanting to hook up their own game systems or streaming devices.

All reservations require a completed Ryson Rental Agreement, and the agreement holder must be at least 21 years of age to rent this property and provide a valid ID at check-in. Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out time is at 10 am.

EXTENDED STAYS
Monthly rentals are considered in the off-season - Winter Texans, snowbirds, retirees, corporate stays, medical professionals, university students and plant workers are welcome. Extended stays or monthly rentals require a stay of 30+ nights, and these reservations are tax exempt. This is an immediate savings of 15%! Although most extended stay reservations are between the middle of November through February, extended stays may be considered anytime between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Extended stay reservations may not be placed online, but a Ryson Vacation Planner would love to answer any questions you may have and help you reserve your extended stay.

The condo had a bad smell. We all woke up with headaches. Tried to air it out by having the patio door open but once they were closed the smell was back. Condo was nice and cleaned. Only thing was the smell.

The balcony view was nice with 4 nice chairs to sit on and 2 tables for drinks or games. We could see the gulf and sunset simultaneously from opposite ends of the balcony. It overlooks Golden Coral, and I thought that would annoy me in the afternoons, but it provided some entertaining people-watching. The angle of the balcony provided shelter from the wind. The room is heavily decorated. If I didn\'t have kids and all their stuff, it would have been lovely. I ended up taking 10 minutes to grab all the decorations on surfaces and stuffing them in a closet. The problem is that there\'s so little storage space to start with that the amazing & super cute decorations took up valuable space. Again, if I didn\'t have a 5,6,& 8 yr old, this wouldn\'t have been an issue. The key to get into the room doesn\'t work very well, or the lock sticks really bad. It was a 3-5 minute event to get into the room every time. The bedding was fresh & nice. I looked for bugs, and I did NOT see a trace of any. The room was very clean. The leather couch was very comfortable, and the leather reclining rocking chair was perfect for late night & early morning snuggles with kids. The two small barstools for the peninsula were perfect for kids to eat at. We\'ve stayed at Casa Del Mar before (3 years ago?), and they\'ve updated their balconies. They\'re much safer & sturdier than before!

Our stay at Casa Del Mar was awesome. The front desk was friendly and informative. The room was quiet, even though there were families all around us. The unit was clean and the decir a plus. Will return and soon!!! A must for anyone seeking a comfortable stay at the beach.
