Description
The open concept living and dining room is also attached to the walkout balcony. Guests sitting on the sofa will have a Gulf view through the window of the bedroom. The living area features an extra-large 55'' flat-screen television, ample seating and a queen sleeper sofa.& The primary bedroom also has a queen bed, television and ceiling fan. The bath features access from both the primary bedroom and the common area. This property has a fully appointed kitchen with a large refrigerator, full oven/stove, microwave and dishwasher and enough cooking equipment to accommodate up to 4 people and enjoy a full meal. The full-size washer and dryer are in a separate laundry room off of the kitchen.
THE DAWN CONDOMINIUMS
The Dawn is Located on Seawall, just West of 69th Street, can’t be missed with the tropical colors, palm trees and beautifully landscaped grounds and feature two swimming pools (one pool is heated to 81° in the cooler months), a poolside hot tub, community grilling areas, fitness center, on-site laundry and gated parking. All units at The Dawn offer a private covered balcony or patio, which is the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or unwind in the evening with a glass of your favorite beverage. All kitchens are fully stocked with pots, pans and dishes to make breakfast, lunch or dinner, and guests are so close to so many delicious places to eat if you don’t feel like cooking or decide to order in after a long day at the beach or pool. All guests are required to pay $37.89 per car for parking upon arrival at The Dawn.

Events, parties, or guests attending prom are prohibited at this home, as well as any type of large gathering with guests not listed on the reservation's Guest Registration or exceeding the maximum occupancy. These provisions are strictly enforced by Ryson Vacation Rentals, and GARM (Galveston Association of Rental Managers) security. If any questions, please contact Ryson.
This vacation home should accommodate up to 2 vehicles to be parked at the property. Parking at condos is determined by the space available at the property (typically two-car maximum). Carpooling is highly recommended. Vehicles should be parked in the driveway or designated parking space. At no time should any vehicle be parked on lawns, yards or dune. Many HOAs do not allow parking for trailers, RVs, boats, etc. Please contact Ryson with any questions.
All reservations at The Dawn Condominiums require a parking fee per vehicle (two max).
When registering at The Dawn guests will receive their pool/gym bands (up to 6 for a one-bedroom and up to 8 for a two-bedroom) and access codes for parking gates, walk-through gates and for the fitness center. Pool/gym bands should be returned to The Dawn prior to departure.
Most HOA fees (resort, parking, amenity, etc.) are to be paid directly to the HOA upon arrival.
Resort amenities require maintenance, and from time to time may be unavailable for guest use. Every effort will be made by Ryson to notify the respective HOA. However, please understand, Ryson has no control or authority in completing necessary repairs or routine maintenance. If elevator use is a requirement for any guests during your stay, please contact Ryson prior to booking, and we're happy to go over available options (alternate elevator available on premises or locating a better limited mobility friendly access unit).
Guests with limited mobility should consider parking and possible stairs to access unit, as The Dawn does not have elevators. A Ryson Vacation Planner would be happy to go over the location and access of specific units.
Even if listed as a provided amenities, Ryson is unable to guarantee specific cable package, network or channels or cable and internet signal quality and cable may not be available on all TVs.
All reservations require a completed Ryson Rental Agreement, and the agreement holder must be at least 21 years of age to rent this property and provide a valid ID at check-in. Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out time is at 10 am.
EXTENDED STAYS
Monthly rentals are considered in the off-season - Winter Texans, snowbirds, retirees, corporate stays, medical professionals, university students and plant workers are welcome. Extended stays or monthly rentals require a stay of 30+ nights, and these reservations are tax exempt. This is an immediate savings of 15%! Although most extended stay reservations are between the middle of November through February, extended stays may be considered anytime between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Extended stay reservations may not be placed online, but a Ryson Vacation Planner would love to answer any questions you may have and help you reserve your extended stay.

When I initially booked the rental it reflected free parking. Two days before we arrived at the rental I received an e-mail that stated 2 days of parking would be $40.00 and we could not lower the thermostat below 75…neither of which was in the original information when I booked. The 40.00 was not a deal breaker but had I of booked a week that would have been a few extra buck I wouldn't have been prepared for…the 75 degrees setting is warm. I booked the rental for 3 people and was told it would accommodate 4…however I was provided 4 towels, 2 hand towels and 2 washcloths. We purchased an additional washcloth. If advertised as accommodating for 4 then maybe you should provide 4 towels, 4 hand towels and 4 washcloths. The very first day we arrived the garbage disposal was broken discovered this after running water in that side of the sink old food came up through the drain and sat in the sink. We reported it to the front office right then and was told they would not be able to fix it until Monday. I sent an e-mail to the property management company and never received a response. It was gross and nasty, therefore we didn't utilize the kitchen. Th instruction sheet inside the unit states we could turn the thermostat down to 71 or 70…which contradicted the e-mail I received. The parking issue was a contradiction. The initial rental said there was no washer in the unit but when we got to the rental property there was a washer….we didn’t use the washer or dryer because we weren’t really sure what to think. The condo was centrally located, nice view and was nice just disappointed with all the issues we had.

The Dawn 722 is a beautiful and comfortable unit overlooking the west pool with views of the gulf too! The pool has three waterfalls, hot tub, shower and grilling area. The hi top table and chairs make it easy to enjoy the views. Bed is super comfortable and the WiFi and TV\'s worked great too. This is a great unit for a couple looking to enjoy the island. Convenient to to shopping or the west end.

Its a nicely located clean 1 bedroom condo walking distance to the beach, groceries, etc. Had WiFi, washer & dryer, fully equipped kitchen, parking, a pool etc. I would give it an easy 9/10.
