The primary bedroom is located on the same level as the living area and has a queen bed and an en suite bath. Stackable w/d located on living area level. The second bedroom has two full beds and a glider rocking chair for relaxation. The third bedroom has a full bed and a full futon. The living area also has a sleeper sofa. This home sleeps 12 comfortably and is very well appointed - a place you will want to return year after year. Sunny Beach is a small community and a nice quiet getaway for families and those wanting to escape to the beach!

Sunny Beach is located at 8 Mile Road, off the main West End throughfair, FM3005, just one mile west of the Seawall and only a short drive from Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn Water Park and many other Galveston attractions and restaurants! Only a short walk to the beach and you're able to park your vehicle on the sand!

This vacation home should accommodate up to 4 vehicles to be parked at the property. Carpooling is highly recommended. Vehicles should be parked in the driveway or designated parking space. At no time should any vehicle be parked on lawns, yards or dune. Many HOAs do not allow parking for trailers, RVs, boats, etc. Please contact Ryson with any questions.
Even if listed as a provided amenities, Ryson is unable to guarantee specific cable package, network or channels or cable and internet signal quality and cable may not be available on all TVs.
All reservations require a completed Ryson Rental Agreement, and the agreement holder must be at least 25 years of age to rent this property and provide a valid ID at check-in. Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out time is at 10 am.
EXTENDED STAYS
Monthly rentals are considered in the off-season - Winter Texans, snowbirds, retirees, corporate stays, medical professionals, university students and plant workers are welcome. Extended stays or monthly rentals require a stay of 30+ nights, and these reservations are tax exempt. This is an immediate savings of 15%! Although most extended stay reservations are between the middle of November through February, extended stays may be considered anytime between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Extended stay reservations may not be placed online, but a Ryson Vacation Planner would love to answer any questions you may have and help you reserve your extended stay.

We rented the home during our early spring break, and while the weather wasn't great, we still had a good time just hanging out in this cozy home with all the creature comforts. It's just a couple of years old, so everything is in great condition - nice appliances and gadgets in the kitchen. We took three teenage girls, which worked out great with the two upstairs bedrooms - they all got their own bed. The girls loved the 3 minute walk to the beach whenever they wanted to head that way, or sometimes they just decided to hang out on the balcony to get some sun. There is a decent view of the Gulf from the balcony, at least for now - there is construction going on in the neighborhood, which may change that in the future. The drive to the main part of town, restaurants and attractions was not bad at all. This neighborhood is one of the first ones west off Seawall Blvd. after it turns away from the Gulf. While the five of us fit well into the house, the living area is not huge, and if you want to all get together and watch a movie at night, seating where you can all see the TV can be a bit challenging, so you may end up on the floor. I know that the description indicates the house will hold 10-12 people, but I would personally recommend having no more than about 8, as I think you would probably be on top of each other quite a bit of the time (at least in the evenings). But overall, we would definitely enjoy staying here again the next time our family is in Galveston!

We had an enjoyable stay and our overall impression was good. We originally had 8 coming on our trip but 3 couldn't make it at the last minute so we ended up with 5. I think 8 would've been crowded. Although it says it sleeps 12, really only 6-8 at most would be comfortable. And the living and kitchen area is very small for any more than 4-6. The master bath/shower did not drain well and I started to call about it but from the look of the shower curtain it wasn't a new issue and who wants a repairman there while your trying to relax? Other small issues were holes in door and walls and peeling paint. The house is showing some wear and tear as well as the outdoor furniture. But I must say the location to the beach is awesome and so convenient. Sunny Beach is just far enough from Galveston proper for the beach to be not crowded at all no matter what time of day we went. We went at peak season so the price was pretty high especially with fees and taxes($1,700 for 3 nights) but Ryson was easy and pleasant to deal with. We would come again and try to get a beachfront house.
