IN TOWN
Staying in town or near one of Galveston's Historic Districts has its own set of perks and is very different from the West End or near East Beach. Many in town homes are walking distance to the seawall, the beach, restaurants, shopping, the Historic Strand and Postoffice district, the Pleasure Pier, museums, the Galveston-Bolivar Ferry, plenty of other attractions, things to do, grocery stores, Texas A and M University, Shriner’s Hospital, Ronald McDonald House and UTMB (University of Texas Medical Branch), one of the largest, most technologically sophisticated emergency care facilities in the world, a level 1 trauma and burn center.

Events, parties, or guests attending prom are prohibited at this home, as well as any type of large gathering with guests not listed on the reservation's Guest Registration or exceeding the maximum occupancy. These provisions are strictly enforced by Ryson Vacation Rentals and City Police.
This vacation home should accommodate up to 2 vehicles to be parked at the property. Carpooling is highly recommended. Vehicles should be parked in the driveway or designated parking space. At no time should any vehicle be parked on lawns, yards or dune. Many HOAs do not allow parking for trailers, RVs, boats, etc. Please contact Ryson with any questions.
Even if listed as a provided amenities, Ryson is unable to guarantee specific cable package, network or channels or cable and internet signal quality and cable may not be available on all TVs.
All reservations require a completed Ryson Rental Agreement, and the agreement holder must be at least 25 years of age to rent this property and provide a valid ID at check-in. Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out time is at 10 am.
EXTENDED STAYS
Monthly rentals are considered in the off-season - Winter Texans, snowbirds, retirees, corporate stays, medical professionals, university students and plant workers are welcome. Extended stays or monthly rentals require a stay of 30+ nights, and these reservations are tax exempt. This is an immediate savings of 15%! Although most extended stay reservations are between the middle of November through February, extended stays may be considered anytime between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Extended stay reservations may not be placed online, but a Ryson Vacation Planner would love to answer any questions you may have and help you reserve your extended stay.

We enjoyed staying here very much! The photos and description of the property were accurate. There were a few things about the property that I would like to tell the owner. The vent hood above the stove did not work, so cooking made it a tad Smokey. Also, there were ant’s in the kitchen and dining room. I would recommend some ant traps or spray. The vents on the ceiling were dripping from condensation, I am not sure if there is an issue or it’s just that humid there! Also, there is no TV in 1 of the bedrooms or living room. That was kind of odd to me. And lastly, there were no smoke detectors in all the bedrooms. In the state of Texas if you are renting out a home, it is a low that there must be smoke detectors in each room. I would let the owners know that they are not up to code and could be held liable if there were a fire. Other than these things, we enjoyed our time. The home was great and a great location. Had everything we needed! We would stay here again! Thank you for renting to us!

2 blocks from the beach. Walking distance to several restaurants. A 5 min. drive to Pleasure pier. Home is very clean and was perfect for the 5 of us. It does sleep 10 with large common areas and kitchen for gathering. We are going back. lots of common areas of us. I pleasure

The place was really nice, and we used it for our family reunion. The only issue we had was that the outside patio was not covered as shown in photos. I believe they are handling this though. The property is managed by a professional property management company, and they are very nice on the phone if you need any help.

The location to the beach was perfect for families of any size. The history of the home in photos on the mantel added to the alure of the home. We had a party of ten and everyone had room to unwind after the trip to the beach.
