Dock Holiday is a charming two-bedroom, one-bath canal front home nestled in the heart of Jamaica Beach and features an open-concept living/dining/kitchen area, a large boathouse upper deck and a screened porch.

The kitchen offers a large refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, stove and all dishes, pots and pans and cooking utensils for up to 6 guests.

The ground-level area of this home is perfectly suited for those who enjoy fishing, boating, paddleboard, tube floating on the canal waters.

The primary bedroom has a queen bed (sleeps 2). The second bedroom has 1 twin bunk (sleeps 2) and 1 set of full/full bunk (sleeps 4, top bunks accommodate a maximum weight of 100#). The bathroom is a shared bath with double vanity and a tub/shower combination. Dock Holiday may accommodate up to 6 guests.

JAMAICA BEACH
Jamaica Beach Texas is one of the most popular beaches and sought-after neighborhoods when it comes to vacation rentals – what it lacks in size, it makes up for action during the summer months, holidays and event weekends! Jamaica Beach is far enough out to be away from the hustle and bustle of Seawall (8 miles), and but not too far away from most of the island attractions (10 miles from 61st Street). Jamaica Beach also has it’s own community pool and private marina and boat ramp, Regatta Basin, a community pavilion and playground.

No white trash bags allowed; all trash has to be in black trash bags. The City will issue citations.

This vacation home should accommodate up to 4 vehicles to be parked at the property. Carpooling is highly recommended. Vehicles should be parked in the driveway or designated parking space. At no time should any vehicle be parked on lawns, yards or dune. Many HOAs do not allow parking for trailers, RVs, boats, etc. Please contact Ryson with any questions.

Jamaica Beach is a residential neighborhood, and quiet hours are enforced between 10 pm and 7 am.

Even if listed as a provided amenities, Ryson is unable to guarantee specific cable package, network or channels or cable and internet signal quality and cable may not be available on all TVs. Oftentimes additional TVs are available for guests wanting to hook up their own game systems or streaming devices.

All reservations require a completed Ryson Rental Agreement, and the agreement holder must be at least 25 years of age to rent this property and provide a valid ID at check-in. Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out time is at 10 am.

I was also nervous after reading the terrible review but the inside of the house was very clean no bugs of any kind. The towel bar in the bathroom is still broken, This is the 4th house I’ve rented just on this street and the location is amazing. Great for fishing. I wish they had fishing spotlights and crab traps that’s always fun and at most houses but again not a dealbreaker. I did email to ask if they had kayaks and they replied no but when we got to the property there was two there so we just ran to Academy and bought paddles because they were not included. This seems like the house is posted by a company not the owners so there was no early check-in or late check out, so not flexible, but again for last-minute fishing four day trip that is pet friendly was not upset. Only huge negative is it is very dirty outside. There was trash all over the grass and tons of empty beer, cans, and bottles in the planters near the door and in the outdoor shower.

I was worried about this place after reading a bad review but let me tell you. This place was amazing. Relaxing. Quiet. Has everything you need for a great price. Dog friendly. I could’ve loved if I could’ve checked in before 4 pm due to our dog being a maltipoo and being overheated at the beach. Other than that would 10/10 recommend this place and will be back definitely.

Beautiful home, did have a weird smell unfortunately. No paddles for the paddle boat but thankfully a neighbor had one to borrow. Wish we knew about the pool costing earlier, should be in the description it’s not free. Also needed help with it but slow responses. Also beds weren’t the most comfortable, primary bed made a lot of noise when moving so beware if you share that bed with a baby like we did it was loud. Other than that it was nice!
