Emerald 712-Good Day Sunshine is a large 2 bedroom /2.5 bath condo that will comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests. All guests check in directly at the Emerald sixth floor Sky Lobby and check in begins at 3:00 p.m. This high rise condo features numerous luxurious amenities such as a 6th floor heated swimming pool that is maintained at a constant temperature year round and boasts underwater seating and a panoramic view of Stewart Beach and the Gulf of Mexico. In addition, guests will enjoy the large hot tub/spa, several covered grilling areas, and a mixture of seating for sun lovers and shade seekers alike. The Emerald also offers a movie theater, game room, fitness center and wine tasting room.
Good Day Sunshine has an open concept living/dining/kitchen area. It was updated and newly furnished in 2020. The owner has furnished the fully equipped kitchen with a vast array of cookware and utensils which can be used to prepare and serve a gourmet meal or heat up a quick snack. Both pottery and Melamine dinnerware and Tervis beverageware are provided, as well as a Keurig coffee system. The utility room accessed from the kitchen area contains a full size washer and dryer.
The living area features floor to ceiling windows, a queen sleeper sofa, a large screen Smart TV with a Harmon Kardon soundbar, and a variety of board games and Galveston-related books and magazines for guests to enjoy. The luxurious ocean view primary bedroom has a queen bed, Smart TV and ceiling fan along with an ensuite bath featuring a walk in shower and walk in closet. The coastal inspired second bedroom has a full size bed, Smart TV and ceiling fan with an ensuite bath featuring a large garden tub. A half bath is located along the main hallway.

Emerald by the Sea is a 14-story resort community, located directly on Seawall at Broadway, in the heart of the East End of Galveston Island, and offers breathtaking panoramic Gulf views and jaw-dropping sunsets. Most homes at the Emerald offer private Gulf-facing balconies, with floor-to-ceiling windows in the living area. The Emerald offers so many amenities, you may never need to leave; including a 6th-floor terrace with a 166′ heated infinity rooftop pool, fitness center, game room, movie theater, wine room for private parties, several lounge areas and a parking garage.

Events, parties, or guests attending prom are prohibited at this home, as well as any type of large gathering with guests not listed on the reservation's Guest Registration or exceeding the maximum occupancy. These provisions are strictly enforced by Ryson Vacation Rentals, and GARM (Galveston Association of Rental Managers) security. If any questions, please contact Ryson.
This vacation home should accommodate up to 2 vehicles to be parked at the property. Parking at condos is determined by the space available at the property (typically two-car maximum). Carpooling is highly recommended. Vehicles should be parked in the driveway or designated parking space. At no time should any vehicle be parked on lawns, yards or dune. Many HOAs do not allow parking for trailers, RVs, boats, etc. Please contact Ryson with any questions.
Resort amenities, including advertised elevators, require maintenance, and from time to time may be unavailable for guest use. Every effort will be made by Ryson to notify the respective HOA. However, please understand, Ryson has no control or authority in completing necessary repairs or routine maintenance. If elevator use is a requirement for any guests during your stay, please contact Ryson prior to booking, and we're happy to go over available options (alternate elevator available on premises or locating a better limited mobility friendly access unit).
Elevator is available for adult guest use - helpful for those with limited mobility or to carry up luggage and groceries.
Even if listed as a provided amenities, Ryson is unable to guarantee specific cable package, network or channels or cable and internet signal quality and cable may not be available on all TVs. Oftentimes additional TVs are available for guests wanting to hook up their own game systems or streaming devices.
All reservations require a completed Ryson Rental Agreement, and the agreement holder must be at least 25 years of age to rent this property and provide a valid ID at check-in. Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out time is at 10 am.
EXTENDED STAYS
Monthly rentals are considered in the off-season - Winter Texans, snowbirds, retirees, corporate stays, medical professionals, university students and plant workers are welcome. Extended stays or monthly rentals require a stay of 30+ nights, and these reservations are tax exempt. This is an immediate savings of 15%! Although most extended stay reservations are between the middle of November through February, extended stays may be considered anytime between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Extended stay reservations may not be placed online, but a Ryson Vacation Planner would love to answer any questions you may have and help you reserve your extended stay.

Th emerald condo complex is a must stay if your visiting Galveston. Check in was easy the condo was well maintained and spacious. The view is amazing from unit 712, they keep the pool and hot tubs very clean and very warm. We used the hot tub everyday. The tenants and security were very friendly.

This condo is beautiful and we had a great time overall. Very well decorated, very clean, comfy beds and kitchen well-stocked. We loved the pool and hot tub! I have to agree with a few of the other reviews I read regarding the lighting in the primary bedroom and the internet. The primary bedroom is very bright at all times. Even at night, as the property keeps the pool and patio lit 24/7, that light comes in the thin shade that is over the large window. I didn\'t mind it in the morning...nice to wake up to the sunshine but tough at night. The internet is very slow. This posed a bit of an issue as I had 4 teens who wanted to watch movies but we couldn\'t keep the tv\'s connected. Again, beautiful property and I would book this place again.

Condo was clean and very nice. Only thing i would recommend is a bigger bed in the master bedroom. We just felt a little cramped sleeping. Other than that everything was very nice
