Guests will walk upstairs to the lovely three-bedroom, two-bath home. The primary bedroom features a king-size bed, TV, and ensuite bathroom. The second and third bedrooms have queen-size beds and share access to the second full bathroom. For additional sleeping arrangements, the couch in the living room pulls out into a full-size bed. Freshen your clothes with the convenient in-house washer and dryer so they’ll be ready for the next day’s activities.
The rolling surf provides endless opportunities for surfing, jet skiing, boogie boarding, and air kite surfing. Fish off the pier at Surfside Jetty Park or charter a boat for a deep-sea excursion to catch redfish and tuna. Walk, jog, or bike the Bluewater Highway Trail that runs through town. History buffs will want to check out Fort Velasco, the site of the first battle of the Texas Revolution. This home is pet-friendly. 2 pets are allowed. All pets must be registered, and pet fee ($100/pet) must be paid upfront. Outside the home, dogs must be leashed at all times, and owners are responsible for picking up after dogs. Please review Ryson’s 'Tips for Traveling with Pets' for additional information.

This vacation home should accommodate up to 4 vehicles to be parked at the property. Carpooling is highly recommended. Vehicles should be parked in the driveway or designated parking space. At no time should any vehicle be parked on lawns, yards or dune. Many HOAs do not allow parking for trailers, RVs, boats, etc. Please contact Ryson with any questions.
Even if listed as a provided amenities, Ryson is unable to guarantee specific cable package, network or channels or cable and internet signal quality and cable may not be available on all TVs.
All reservations require a completed Ryson Rental Agreement, and the agreement holder must be at least 25 years of age to rent this property and provide a valid ID at check-in. Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out time is at 10 am.
EXTENDED STAYS
Monthly rentals are considered in the off-season - Winter Texans, snowbirds, retirees, corporate stays, medical professionals, university students and plant workers are welcome. Extended stays or monthly rentals require a stay of 30+ nights, and these reservations are tax exempt. This is an immediate savings of 15%! Although most extended stay reservations are between the middle of November through February, extended stays may be considered anytime between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Extended stay reservations may not be placed online, but a Ryson Vacation Planner would love to answer any questions you may have and help you reserve your extended stay.

Make sure if they didn't clean the coils in the inside unit that the company brings in 2 portable ac’s and you will be fine. Other than the a/c issues the house was great. Always a breeze underneath the house , which was very nice.

The location was perfect with our own easy beach access. The house was clean and comfortable. The only issue was the dishwasher was broken. Regardless we had a great time!

The proximity to the beach was great, but other than that, this house was expensive for what it is. It’s so incredibly small. The air conditioning in the bedrooms barely works. Every night we were sweating so bad. The house sways, so when you’re sleeping, you can feel the bed moving. The master bathtub does not drain and it feels like the floor is sinking there. The water and ice in the fridge didn’t work which was a huge added cost when having access to trustworthy and clean water is basically a basic need it was ridiculous that the house didn’t have it. The kitchen size was insane how small it is. It’s clear that whoever own this hasn’t put a lick of work into the home in decades. There’s mold growing on the sink in the master. There’s one measly picnic table downstairs, so we couldn’t even eat down there with our 10 people that the house allowed. Given that it allows 10 people, the kitchen only sits 6. The couches, which there were so many of, were such disgusting material that sitting on them was just disgusting because it was that thick like wool material that collects sand and dirt. All the roku tv channels were expired because Netflix and Hulu weren’t paid for. Idk the house was so expensive for what we got. If I were you, I’d get a nicer house a step or two back if it meant walking a little further to the beach but having a nicer space. Or, just come with like 2-4 people max because the bedrooms are also so incredibly close. The grill had gas ready for it but it wasn’t almost comical because the grill was decades old and didn’t work. We let it heat up for 15 minutes, put our meat on, and let it sit for over 10 minutes and it did nothing but put old black grill marks on uncooked meat. I personally would never stay here again.
